My baby GAbby is now 21months and she lost all her hair at 9 1/2 months. She has had no regrowth at all. No eyebrows or eyelashes. Nothing. She does form fuzz every now and then, but it amounts to nothing. I always get excited when I see her head in the sun light and see the hairs. I then look again a couple days later and they are all gone. I am still waiting and hoping that one day she will regrow.

My son max gets some fuzzy white hairs some don't amount to anything and the fall out others turn dark, however he has not ad a full head of hair since he was about 6-8 months old. He is doning a new treatment now which is a topical steriod and hopefully this will stimulate some growth, he is now 3.

My daughter has AA spots that come and go. The regrowth has always started out w/ white hair, which quickly turns to her regular hair. Hope that helps!

hello Fizza, when my sos Kyler 's hair started to grow back in he had that white peace fuzz come in. Then it started coming in very light almost white but the strands looked more like hair then fuzz and then it came in darker, not as dark as it was before AA hit him, but just a few shades lighter. Hope this helped you take care

Did any of your kids have peach fuzz type white hair when they had regrowth? And did it turn darker? I have been reading up and its called vellum hair and it never becomes terminal. But I don't know if that applies to alopecians? Anyone know? Im a little worried. I thoguht mayeb thi was the end of this bout of AA turned AT. Thank you for your responses!

Happy New Year Everyone. I hope everyone had a fun and safe celebration. I am trying to get myself organized for the new year. Not an easy task for me...looks like i am going to start with making a list....topping the list for Monday are dealing with Child Support Issues and getting my daughter Rebecca an appointment so we can work on getting her Allergy tested. I had to wait for my insurance cards to arrive before I made the appointment. Hopefully we will be able to get in right away.
