I have alopecia totalis in November 2011 . I had nearly all my hair back this summer . It was a very nice summer , I have meet a man who likes me very much. Now I feel my hair falls down again and I am afraid , I will get alopecia totalis again soon ( I hat it already 2 times ) . My friend has not noticed yet , that I have this problem , I have about 75 % my hair now , but I see I am loosing more and more hair every day . I am afraid I will be again without my hair soon. I do not know if I should say him about my problem now or should I wait when he notice it and explain him I have this illness ? If I do not say , I feel I am not honest . But maybe it is better to say him when he notices himself that I have less hair now as I had before and he will ask me , what happiens and then I will say him a true ? What do you think ybout it ?

so...I am a born again Christian and have alopecia...age 50 soon...and just had a fellow Christian guy on a dating site...who is bald mind you...reject me in part because he couldn't really deal with my alopecia. I told him he had a double standard it seemed. there are other issues too...but, honestly, even though I know in my heart that God loves me just as I am...it still stinks a bit when someone rejects us over this hairlessness....
