Just looked at the Grease videos which brought back some laughable wig times back in the 60s. Since I was often wearing one around campus, my college roommates loved to try my "fluffed feather look":). Glad to hear your "funk" flew the coop!
Very good choices regarding the hairpieces. I like the flirting touch of the blond hair over the eyes. Both give the impression of a foxy lady with a lot of energy. Bring on the "tough days and younger guys"... Tallgirl is ready to tango!!!
Raquel Welch was always one of my favorites but had trouble finding them in smaller sizes. But, you look smashing in them!
I love both the "looks" TG....
Rizzo and Blonde bombshell!!!
What are the "syle" names?
Tallgirl - Do you know how many others were being interviewed for this job? Just wondering about the numbers and if the one who accepted could suddenly decide not to accept the job offer. Do you feel age discrimination was part of the decision?
I like both of the wigs but tend to prefer a lighter shade on us older folks. Sometimes the darker colors gray our complexions and draw attention to our "little" wrinkles:).
I have been wearing scarves or hats for the last 1 1/2 years and very rarely wear my wig except when I go to work. So my nephew who just turned 5 in October hasn't seen me in my wig since he was 3 1/2. Last Friday he had a Christmas school concert and since I was going to work after the concert I wore my wig. Before the concert started I had to go to the restroom and when I was going back into the concert room the kids were lined up in the hallway and there was my nephew. So I went over and said hi to him and gave him a thumbs up. A couple of days later my sister called me to tell me that while they were driving to school on Monday, my nephew out of the blue said, When Auntie came and said Hi to me before the concert I didn't know who she was. She told him that I was wearing a wig, just like the one that she has for halloween. He then said that he liked me better with my scarf......... and I used to feel worried that he might feel a little embarrassed that his auntie wears a scarf.
Wow, $30 just to have your photo taken with the wigs on....what a deal! HA HA They are both nice looking, I like the color of the Noriko. I just bought my first wig on line, different style, different color. A nice ginger brown that was more like my natural hair color. It sure looks different than the red that I have been wearing for years. I can't believe how much cheaper the wigs are on-line. I love supporting my local businesses but when I can save over $100 I have to support my local wallet.
I hope that you are able to find a job soon, sorry that the last interview didn't go your way.
I'm so sorry Susan. I'm going thru the exact same thing. I feel your pain
I'm so very sorry...:(. ((Hugs))Susan
Thanks Susan - I appreciate the encouragement. I posted a blog about my hair loss journey if anyone wants to see the before and after.
