I feel the same a little bit about mine. I think they need to come down somewhat for the suction to work. Did your fit cap feel the same way? Sometimes I think maybe it's because I'm not used to having hair, but it is definitely lower than my natural hairline. Sorry I have no advice though!
Hi Seed,
Most people unless they are children or very, very tiny, need to have approximately 4 fingers of space above your eyebrows. Depending on how big your fingers are, this could vary a bit, but your Freedom wig should not be any lower than a normal hair line. Since hairlines vary, the 4 finger rule is just the average. Your rep would have designed your wig to that standard. A lot of first time wearers and a lot of teens tend to want to wear them too far forward. If you do this, you will notice a slight bubble on the top of your head. Try shifting it back just a tad until the bubble disappears and the wig fits snugly but not 'tight'. If you wear it too far forward, you can stretch it out over time. All wigs look best when they are placed in a very natural place on your forehead. The hair should be what frames your face, not the cap. If the cap makes your face look too 'closed in', it will not look nearly as natural as seeing your natural forehead and face. I hope I'm explaining this well enough. If not, feel free to ask whatever questions you want.
Ha ha hi Debbi I am your client! Just told you about being pregnant wink wink!! I have my hairline thing all figured out as I told you in my email. Thank you though, good advice :)
LOL!!!!! One of the issues with anonymous websites is you don't know who you are talking to! HA!!
Well, glad that the advice is universal!! Again, congrats on being pregnant!! That's just the best!

Congratulations Seed!!!! Debbi is my rep, too. What a small world this "AlopeciaWorld" is???? Sounds like you're still loving your Freedom Wig. Me, too. Take care.
Thanks :) I am totally loving my hair, love love loving it!
How great to see everyone loving their wig...I just ordered mine from Karen at newlifehair and I am so excited and really anxious for the time to fly by so I can have hair I'm not embarrassed to be seen in! How did you get yours styled?
B and Seed have you both contacted your FW reps yet? Maybe they can walk you through it. I think you guys might be wearing it wrong if you both feel that the wig comes down too far on ya'lls forehead. Try bending the tabs/wings a little bit and move the wig back a little so that the wig is flush to your scalp on the crown of your head. There should not be any bubble/gap on the crown. Use your finger tips and smooth out any air or bubble between the wig and your scalp. That should help. I have read on some of the threads on AW that if you and your rep has Skype you guys can do a little video conference and the rep can help you on how you can wear your FW properly. I hope I made sense. I've been wearing these wigs since 2002 and is pretty familiar on how they should fit. I'm on my third one and just placed another order for another 14 inch FW. I hope that helps. ~Holly
Thanks for your advice. I've been wearing synthetic wigs for years and always seem to wear them further back. I can understand the need to wear them somewhat forward to get suction etc but feel this one is fitted to far on my forehead. As it was my first i was guided by my rep. I am wondering if anything can be done at this stage?
Holly, I'm wearing it correctly, but I just need to get used to a new hairline is all. :)
