lori..
you know what even though it is a wig... we can still have fun with it, u know live in it for a while, then 3-6 months down the road get a cut, then 6/12 months a repair then another cut, some high lights it can be changed a bit lightened, darkened... so glad you love it!!! and it really seems like what you wanted as far as styles.
Awwwweee thanks Jessica. My daughter informed me that I need to cut some more off. In her 5 year old words.... This wig will look different than the other if you don't have a bit more cut off. People at work will then laugh at you....LOL... Hmmmmmmm wisdom of a five yer old. I had to tell her there is no way it is going to look like my synthetic wig no matter how much I cut off.... LOL... I still may go in and shorten it up some more.... I will give it a week....
Lori, you look fantastic!!!! I am so happy you are happy with your new look. It looks so great. color cut etc, i don't think you need to do anything else to it, except enjoy it!
Well here she is. Just got back from trimming up the bangs. She even tweaked the cut some more. I got some really neat hair spray that has wax in it.. These flips are going nowhere.... The layers really flip.. I mean REALLY flip now. I am still thinking of going shorter on the flips but will wear it like this for a bit....
Only posted one pic as really hard to take pictures by myself with the stupid iphone.
All in all I like the way it looks now. I love the color. It is so much better than the synthetic. It has been a journey but well worth everything to get to how the piece looks now.
I still have to play with this and find out what I want it do. This is straight from the salon where we flipped the ends like crazy. I maynot flip them quite as much.... It still feels a tad long to me. Over all I am pretty happy with the piece.

Hi all,
Hope you are all well! I am heading to Toronto for FW consultations April 28th-29th. If you know anyone that is interested in seeing a FW in person or interested in a consult please contact me.
Lori,
I'm so glad it all worked out...Of course I knew it would!!! Post some pictures for us!
Hey all,
This past week-end I ended up going back down to Keene NH to another stylist named Lana. Both she and Debbi Fuller worked miracles on my hairpiece.
Lana is a color specialist as well so we tweaked the color of the wig as well. It now is a beautiful warm red brown with dark caramel highlightrs throughout it. It is just gorgeous. Years back when I had hair I went to this awesome stylist in Ottawa who was as well a color specialist. I have freckles and hazel eyes and the colors he always chose for me were exactly the color that my wig now is. Wow. What a difference the color can make!
We tweaked the cut some more. I left with the bangs still a bit long but I wanted to see how the new cut would behave. I am still going to go to another stylist here and cut the bangs some more. Maybe blend them in a bit more as the hair is getting in my eyes a bit still. I didn't want to go crazy with the cutting when I was down there.
I have finally figured out how to get my wig on correctly too! It was like one day a switch was turned on. It fits perfectly and I no longer need 10 attempts to get it on right. The tip about putting the fit cap on and tracing it with eyeliner really helped. I also think I was wanting it to fit like the fit cap which of course is made of a hard plastic whereas the wig has a flexible silicone cap.
When I got home Sunday night I didn't want to take the hairpiece off it was so comfortable. Ohhhhhhhhhh and I walked with CONFIDENCE in WIND! Ha! That was awesome!!!! I love it!!!
Now it is a matter of figuring out how to style it myself. I may buy a flat iron and flip the ends out a bit. Once I get the bangs tweaked and I figure out how to make it look the way I want without having a stylist doing it for me I will post pics.
Anyways the wig is awesome. It fits beautifully. Debbi has been absolutely fabulous.
I am already saving up for my next one. I told Debbi the next one I am going to have some fun as far as color goes. That one I will put some fire engine red foils and blondes through a chocolate base. That is the color my hair was before I started to lose it. Ohhhhh yeah...... Sorry I am just so excited! The idea of having hair that I can actually have some fun with as far as color goes just makes my day. Synthetics are just so hideous and boring as far as color goes. That is what I found the hardest about the synthetics. I felt stiffled by the color choice. Well I should sign off now on this NOVEL I have written. Just so please with the outcome....
