You daughter will love her FW. You are right, the hardest part is the waiting. My daughter's took 8 months. She has been marching (band) with hers in 100 degree heat. The heat did not bother at all. She went on the roller coaster last week after Band Review. I was worried the whole time, a big relief when she came down with the hair intact. I am just waiting until January 2011 to order her another one for back up. It makes a big difference in my daughter's self esteem.
Hang in there.

Well...the countdown is 3 more days until Karen comes to our house to "scan" my daughter for her FW!! I know the wait after is going to be unbelievably hard, but I'm also sure it will be well worth it. Then, we get to make a trip to Chicago to get it cut in! Anybody else make a long trip to get their FW cut in?

Oh I am so happy for you.. I know how happy I am with my new hair, glad your daughter is getting along with her's. Yes, 10' will give her plenty of hair to work with and have fun style too. I will have my hubby take a pic of mine in a pony so you can see and show her too. I didn't have any color done, I'm going to wait a while, I just love the Med chocolate color it came in.

Jessica your hair is stunning so glad you are happy with it.........my daughter Nicole has just had her new 12" cut and it also is stunning. It is a similar colour to yours =) After we had it cut we went into town and she was literally bouncing along she was so stoked...........her new hair has made her look so grown up I got a real lump in my throat when I saw it all finished and cut......for her next one I think she is going to go for a 10" are you able to put it in a ponytail if you wish too?
Cheers Sharon

You guys will LOVE Karen. She was amazingly kind and so beautiful - she is a great advertisement for the wig as you would NEVER know - EVER that it's a wig. I looked for her at the airport when she flew in to scan me and I swear...I can pick out a wig at 100 feet. No such luck! She has tons of advice and information so pick her brain!

Back again!! :o) We're finally finished with all the medical stuff we've been dealing with over the past month or two, and we've rescheduled our visit with Karen Peterik. She will be coming on the 23rd of October for my daughters "scan." We are SO excited about finally getting this process started!!!
