Hello All! Well...we finally made a decision to go for "Freedom!" :o) Our daughter (13) has been wearing lace "systems" for almost a year now, and we are so tired of tape and glue and...well...if you've ever done it, you know. Anyway...I spoke with Karen Peterik this past weekend, and she is coming to "fit" our daughter on Saturday the 14th!! We are so excited...we're hoping to have it before Christmas so she can "change her hair" over Christmas break from school. I can't wait to get to know you all better!

I just got my freedom wig and am loving it! My profile pic is me with my old hairpiece (I'll post my new pic soon) and this one in comparison feels so much better and looks like me. There is nothing that can trick your sense of touch and I finally feel that my new fw feels like my old hair. The heat has not affected me at all. I actually find it cooler than my old wig as the sweat is allowed to drip away rather than get absorbed into the fabric and get itchy. Love this!!

Deb, I'm not a big hat person since I am so blessed to live in S.D. and we get great weather here year round. I do however wear a light spray-in hair conditioner with SPF on my FW when I know I will be out in the sun at the beach or a hike. I do like wearing beanies or a nice wool hat in the cold winter months but, then again it never gets cold enough here to wear gloves, long johns, or a scarf either! Lol!

Quick question - do any of you wear sunhats while wearing your Freedom Wig? I am afraid of damaging the wig while wearing one, although my rep said a loose sunhat is fine. Any of you guys wear one a lot??? I'm a big "hat person" and hate the sun. I got one that was for a large head from Sungrubbies...

Hi Leslie have a look at their website it is www.freedomwigs.co.nz and it should tell you if there is a rep close to you. They are fantastic.

I forgot about the freedom wigs. I wear a synthetic wig and really get tired of it.
Where can I find one? I do have a wig shop close to home, maybe i should ask them.

Hi Michelle...........yes you have to be bald or shave your head to get the suction on a freedom wig

Hi gals - I don't have a Freedom wig, but I am curious...do I have to be bald to wear one?
