Hi Deb, she mentioned a couple of things, one is the possibility I am putting it on incorrectly, the other is that there may have been an error in the calibrating. If it is my error, then it can easily be remedied when I see her, if it is the other, then she said it would get sent back and they just stick it on the machine to reshape it.
She said that all the pieces were checked however before they left the factory, so most likely that is not the problem with mine, but there is a small chance that it was missed off by a tiny bit.
In either case, she reassured me that it was something that could be taken care of.
The hair quality is really nice, very very soft fine hair, much like my own bio hair!
Please do not let my experience impact you, it is probably error on my part, but if not, it will be fixed no problem. I seem to be the only one here with this problem, so I am confident that yours will be fine. You must be very excited:)

Just wondering - what did she recommend? Is it the way you are putting it on? Does it need to go back to the factory? I am getting my Freedom Wig next week and a bit nervous about how it will fit....

Rosy,
I just heard back from my rep who is as nice as nice can be :) She is getting right on things and made me feel confident it can be remedied. She was very reassuring :)
I think I am just a nervous nelly :)

Hi Rosy
I hope you are right :) If it is the cap and not error by me, how can it be fixed without starting all over again? I did contact my rep. and am waiting to hear back (she is very good and super nice).
I was looking at your daughters pictures, wow, she looks so much like you :) and really am impressed with how natural her bangs look. I have not had mine cut at all yet, but when I play around and hold the hair to see what bangs will look like on me, I get a very bowl-like appearance. How did she ask for them? I fear mine are simply too thick in the front and temple region to do that.

again, thank you so much for your thoughts, you are a very kind person.

Ladies,

I have been lucky enough to visit Freedom Wigs and their factory. If you meet the people and SEE how these wigs are made, you would see how time consuming and involved they are to make. Sometimes the equipment they use can break down, which doesn't that happen to other businesses?? The end product is well worth the wait! My daughter has had her peice for 1 1/2yrs now and no repairs to date =) Our rep if FANTASTIC and goes over and beyond her call of duty.

Hi Rosy
Thanks for the response! I know, it does not sound right, and that makes me so sad. I am going to call my agent tomorrow and talk to her, see what she says. I am nervous and fear that nothing can be done at this point if it is too big.
Agin, thank you for responding :)

Hi everyone, I just got my freedom and I am finding it is looser than I thought it would be, did anyone else find this? maybe I am putting it on wrong? When I get a good suction I am finding it is a bit lower on my forehead and there are air pockets that wont come out, when I put it on where there are no air pockets, it is then too loose and can easily be lifted off :(

I would love to hear others experience

Yes, Rosy I do, do that as well. The double stick tape near the wigs is just a good trick to do when I know I will be attending a windy outdoor setting. Its funny you said about being a sailor. I was in the U.S. Navy for 6 years on active duty. Thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks LD and Lily for the comment! Lily, I went on a day cruise today and I knew it was going to be windy when the ship set sail so I did the double stick tape trick on my sideburns and it was fantastic! I didn't worry about how unatural my sideburns would look when I wore my sunglasses or when the wind was blowing in my direction as I talked to others on board. Not once today did I go into the skin of the ship avoiding the wind! Lily, just make sure you if you want to try this trick to get the thick but, not too thick or too thin double sided tape. I have done this twice and I had no problems taking the tape off my skin and no problems getting any hair from my FW stuck on the double sided tape. Just do this trick on windy outings and you will be fine.
