Julia, thanks, I am so excited (in case I didn't mention it lol) When do you get yours? I am in the same boat as far as a stylist goes, I am thinking of going to Chicago.

What I do know is that you can have different densities of hair, very light, light, light medium and medium. I know exactly what you mean about the thickness, but since different densities can be used, it should not be a problem. I had very fine hair that was a light density, maybe light medium but more light ...I have pictures of what I am looking to be able to achieve which will be helpful

In the gallery section there are a couple of short cuts. I think that with the right density and the proper texturizing/cut a fun cut like you want should be attainable. Have you shown pictures to the agent you have been speaking with?
I wish I could be more helpful to you, I am sure someone will come by who knows alot more than me:)

I have another question. I noticed that all the freedom wigs seem to be quite thick or have a lot of hair. Not everyone has thick hair or loads of it.

Part of my problem with the synthetic wigs for me was every wig looked like big hair on me. It took me forever and lots of wasted money to finally find a synthetic wig that looked close to my own hair as far as the amount of hair in the wig. I don't look like I am wearing a helmet. I bought a humn hair wig and I hate it the most because it has way too much hair. It even had the mono top so it didn't have the extra puffiness that regular wigs have but it still was way too much hair. I felt like a freak in it. It was a bob too and I look horrible in it. If I had it cut in a layered cut the way I like to wear my hair it would have looked even worse.

Can you get different amounts of hair implanted. As much as I adore my sister who has thick and lots of hair I don't want to look like her. I want to look like me.

Does anyone know a good hairstylist who can cut mine when it arrives? I would travel as far as Montreal if necessary, although obviously, someone in Ottawa would be better for me! Any recommendations would be very helpful. Thank you.

Hi Lori it is a huge decision........Itotally understand where you are coming from............Nicole has had hers coloured dark chocolate brown with blonde streaks thru it and I'm sure if we wanted to put some funkier foils thru it that wouldn't be a problem either.......Rosy will be able to tell you more.

I know a lady who wore a short synthetic funky wig that was and awesome colour it was a funky strawberry blonde with highlights looked great. Good luck making up your mind I just know that for my daughter these wigs have been wonderful.............we are at the stage where her's needs to go back for a repair and when it is your only one it is a really big issue =( Take care and good luck with your decision

I am really starting to think these are not for me. I love razor cuts that stand up. My own natural hair was fine and razor cuts worked perfect on it. I did use some hair gel to make the hair spike out. I love having tri-colored hair so anything that looks natural and sorry ladies don't mean to offend anyone but "prissy" just isn't me.

I have been in contact with Debbie Fuller and we have talked about trying to create the haircut I have right now. You though I still want to talk to someone that has got a wig with the shorter cuts. I want to be able to put more than one color in it too. Before my hairloss began I was sporting a funky cut with bright blonde, fire engine red and dark chocolate. That is the type of thing I want to be able to do.

I never understood why they make synthetic wigs so gosh darn awful boring. If it isn't the blasted curly "old lady" looking wigs then it is the horrible drab boring "i'm afraid to be experiment" type of color especially in this day and age where people are experimenting with their colors.......

Ohhhhhhh thanks for listenning to be vent. I am just having a really poopy week and realize that more than likely I am now stuck with wigs the rest of my life. I just don't want to be chained to boredom in a wig. It is becoming apparent that if you go for a short wig then you are basically stuck with old lady hairdos and that frustrates me to no end.

Hey all,

Sitting here with a head full of needle sticks. I am still doing the shots but the hairloss continues. Still working up the gutts to shave the head. That may be around the corner. I still have so many concerns about these wigs. As you all know I don't do long hair. I LOVVVVVEEEEE short funky hair styles. The wig I am wearing now in the picture is the longest I would ever go. In order to have fun funky hair styles you need hair gel.

I have heard over and over again that these hairpieces have to go back and be repaired. One of the causes I have heard is from tucking it behind your ear too much...hence touching it too much. What worries me is I spend big bucks on this thing (on top of all the big bucks I have already spent on hair pieces I hate and refuse to wear) and I can't use the hairgel in it or I do use it in it and a few months from now the thing is losing hair or whatever it is that it does.

I am a gal that likes hair that is funky so short hair that lies flat doesn't cut it for me. Seriously every wig on here that I see is long hair. I look so horrid with long hair. Is there anyone on here that has a freedom wig that is cut in a short funky hair style that uses hair products on their wig?

Good morning everyone!

Rosy, thank you so much for your response. I think Devon's hair may be a bit too short to use, but I'll bring it anyway, it will at least be helpful when I meet with my agent and choose color/texture. Do you know if I will have input as to the density/thickness/amount of hair they use? I never had 'thick' hair and too much would look really funny on me, basically my natural hair is fine and straight, light to medium brown with blond/goldish highlights. I realize that exact color will be hard to duplicate, but hopefully I can get something close and then do highlights/lowlights if needed.
I do have a bunch of pictures to bring to show the style I want to have it cut to and the way I want to wear it, hopefully that will be helpful. Thanks again.

Oh, silly question, but my ears are very small and are kind of close to my head, will this be a problem at all with fit?

Hope everyone has a wonderful day
Ella
