Alopecia Ontario

Searching for fellow Ontarians with Alopecia. I have been dealing with alopecia for the last 20 years, and I'm finally done dealing with it alone. Is there anyone out there?

Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know that I will be representing Freedom Wigs at a Products Show this Saturday November 17th being put on by CANAAF (The Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation.) The Show is being held at the
North York Civic Centre
5100 Yonge Street
North York, ON Yonge
St. north of Sheppard Ave.
lower level committee rooms
I am the Eastern Rep for Freedom up here in Canada and have been asked to attend. If you want to see the Freedom Wig in person or have questions this is a fabulous venue to attend. We also have a chance to meet fellow alopecians and get support. Hope to see you there.
Cheers,
Jenn

I just registered again. Don't enter a code. DOn't sign up for an account - you don't need one. Put NONE in the field where it asks for a special invitation code.

As for events, wise1, try and come to the whole thing, as that will be the best way to really connect with the most folks.

YOu shouldn't need a code. Just go to the www.canadianskin.ca/conference2012. No code required. Just fill in the info, enter it and it should send you an email confirming the registration. if it doesn't work , please call the phone number. The programme is on the site. Also there are preferred rates at the hotel for conference attendees...but I'm pretty sure you have to call the hotel and ask for the SKIN MATTERS rate. if you still have trouble , email info@canadianskin.ca and give all your info there.

Yes , its free and all meals are included. Also some truly world class speakers. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to have this experience and as Amanda says - its all subsidized and free. Alvin Law is speaking on Saturday evening and Dennis Gardin on friday morning. Both are outstanding and are being flown in for this.Charlene Pell is also being flown in for her session on staring. Look them up... with it being free you can also easily bring a partner, parent, or support person, or anyone you know with any kind of skin disease. call the number to make sure you get a space.
you owe it to yourself to come... we all do!

Wise1,
You can do it! It's free now too! Looks like it will be great. Just the feeling of being with others who understand will make it worth the while. Hope to see you there.

Wisel,
Keep trying...sometimes my iPad limits me too! Would love to meet up. Let's keep everyone posted so we can look for each other!
