I didn't realize the Joan Rivers came with a brush, yes that would make it easier along the hairline...  I apply bare minerals bronzer powder with a brush along my hairline sometimes, why have I never thought to try BnB using a brush at the difficult to apply hairline/temples area!  Bu, I am so so happy to hear that this is helping you, it is amazing how it works and covers up the shiny areas & I agree, Lauren has awesome info!

Awesome Bu!  I am so happy you are happy with it :-D

Question for you, I did look at the Joan Rivers Great Hair Day, how do you like it and how do you use it with the BoostnBlend?

Also, just back from my monthly Dermo. visit, got my usual steroid injections along the hairline & eyebrows, this time she diluted it a bit and injected on the top of the scalp also.  I am going to stay with just topicals & steroid injections for the time being as I am having such bad reactions to the minocycline and plaquenil  :-/

Minter, I'm glad you like the Boostnblend. I think I will give it a try!

BU, I think you will be happy with it too!  It took a few days for me to get the application down- this is what I do, I give my hair a quick shot with the blow dryer first and then shake the powder on the top of my head at the part, along my hairline and above my ears & blend it in along with the roots, then I do a double check with my hand mirror to make sure I got it all the shiny spots & reapply if I missed any, then smooth my hair all out  (it gets a little wild after all the blending) & spritz hairspray lightly at the roots- my hair does look fuller too after using this, haha I am always looking in my rearview mirror now and liking what I see, no more shiny scalp!

Oh now I understand.  Thanks for sharing.  I am not ready for shaving, I still have enough in back and on the side up towards the crown for a clip in.  I will keep you all posted on the custom piece made from a mold that will give me a hairline and "sideburns"..... waiting anxiously.

Bu US you're welcome. I hate to get my head shaved back to the crown so I'm not going to watch. I haven't shed any tears yet but I might that day. The crazy thing is I have lots of new hair growing at my temples but the sides, above my ears, and top of my head to my crown keeps receding and scarring. Strange disease.

Yes Curly K, it's human hair. I saved quite a bit by ordering 2 at the same time. I just hope I like the color I chose, but they can be colored too.
