I wish you all the best in your search for work in Alberta. It still seems to be booming so I'm sure you won't have too hard of a time finding something you like. Lethbridge is actually pretty far away from where I live (in Edmonton). I haven't been back there in forever, although I lived there when I was a small child. I knwo a lot of people who've gone to Uof L and loved it. I'd really like to keep in touch. cheers!
I am assuming that your bf is coming out to Alberta for an employment opportunity. I'd totally love to get together if you come to Alberta. I agree 100% about the comfort of having someone to speak to. Count me in forsure! Where in Alberta is he moving to?
Also I feel so liberated having written that blog about how uncertain I feel and to have so many people read it and comment and share....wow, all I can say is I am very happy that I found this website.
When you get it, let me know! I would love to find out how you like it. Hugs!
I can relate to your feelings. I am not going to say that it's easy because it is not. However, I can say that after 15 yrs of aleopecia universalis it does get easier. There are ups and downs like in all areas of life, but it is great to look back to your life and think "wow, look how far I've come and how much I have grown as a person". That is a truly rewarding feeling. As well, I believe there's always room for more growth and we each must take our lives in steps towards the future.
It sounds like you're well on your way. Good job!

Welcome to Alopecia World -- indeed, there are many beautiful people here.
As far as the"moment of sadness" you mention -- I think that I can safely say that time will take care of the sadness. You might want to read my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing," which has a lot of stories of different women and their journeys. It's a fun read, too. Check in out on my page. In the meantime, live from the inside out. By focusing on what is inside, not what is outside, including what other people think -- that's where the happiness lies.
I'm so glad you're here! Welcome...
LeslieAnn
