Hi LeslieAnn,
thank you for your comments. you're very inspirational. altho I have had AA for almost 34 years, thankfully I do not have to wear wigs anymore. I just maneuver the hair. it's quite a chore but second nature at this point. I'm grateful for whatever I have because I was once bald.
Hi Christine,
I've had it for 30 years -- AU for 20 years. Since I found some good wigs and someone to style them, I'm fine now.
Wrote a book about it -- it might help you come to acceptance! It's called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" go to my page to find out more.
And take care!

Hi Angell,
as I said, I have had it 33 years. for the first year or two I was 90% bald and after that I would get it back and it would fall out again. I am used to it but still have problems accepting it. you'd think after so many years, I wouldn't care - but I do!
where do you live? christine
Hi Christine, I went through AA for about 5 years and thought I had it beat. Then it came back along with lots of illness and family trauma. That's when it went to AU in 2000 and stayed there. Intimacy with men is a big concern with me. Most men are so visual. I guess I am just too scared.......Angell
