Alright Peeps, so I got pulled over and received a ticket yesterday for talking on my cell phone (yes, I'm in CA). Totally had "fight or flight" responses when I realized I was being pulled over, you know - heart beating like crazy, shaky hands, can't think straight, etc.



WELL, flash forward to this morning - HELLO!, hair coming out like crazy in the shower and HELLO! it looks like my spots have almost doubled overnite! WTF!?!?

So, what's the consensus on using Rogaine to help with regrowth???



My dermatologist recommended I get it because where my hair is growing back, I guess it's not as full as the rest of my hair, and just for regrowth in general. I have yet to purchase any due to financial poopiness, but I'm workin' on it.



Has anyone had fabulous and fulfilling experiences with it? Do I get the woman's Rogaine or is the Men's better? Is there crazy stuff in the Rogaine that's not so great for… Continue

- The stupid wind

- My ever insulting hair brush

- My constant mocking pillow case

- Don't even get me started on my asshole hairdryer

- Even my slimy fingers have given me grief these days

Met with my new dermatologist yesterday. Of course he highly recommended coritisone shots (don't they all) - man those suck. Along with those, he wants me to get some Rogaine, T-Gel shampoo and he also gave me this stuff in a tube I'm supposed to put on my spots for 5-10 minutes then wash off, which might cause some irritation and discomfort he warns me. What's the concensus on cortizone shots for alopecia areata??? I was having them done from about October 2008 - January 2009. I stopped because of money issues and because I wasn't convinced they were helping. But now, it's June and my alopecia has gotten quite a bit worse. I have an appointment to see a dermatologist tomorrow, but I wanted to get some feedback on the shots before I started getting them again...
