Hi friends! I have a totally random thought. Has anyone noticed any connection with hair loss and seasons? I have a few patches right now and noticed that this is the 3rd fall in a row that this has happened. It seems that I only lose hair in the fall. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I crazy? :)

So...after round two of patches and bald spots..... Its growing in strong. I have both eye brows and eyelashes!!! Hooray! I even have to shave my legs again. And it seems to be Round 2 of Alopecia. It seems harder this time than the first time around. Everyone keeps saying that it is easy this time because I know what to expect and I already have wigs. Has anyone heard of skin lupus before? I know what lupus is, but have never heard of 'skin lupus'. I just had several skin biopsies where they are looking for 'skin lupus'. Its the next thing on the list (of doctor's guesses) to rule out. Does anyone else have this??

so this morning was really hectic....you know sometimes you just have one of those mornings that feels like an entire day - all before you go to work. today was one of those mornings. So tonight I will make my first social appearance BALD! I have been furniture shopping wigless...but I don't know those people so who cares. WAHOO!!!! I wish it wasn't so patchy in back. I would LOVE to go out, bald and proud...but the back of my head looks like a soccer ball. Any suggestions on ways to minimize the difference in colors in the back??

My mom and I purchased this wig at
Hair for You Salon. I am not sure who the designer is because the tag was removed when Linda was altering it to fit my head. She also cut it so that it had a cute style. It is a little shorter in the back and comes down longer in the front. It fits really well (since she cut it to fit my head) and is really fun. Yay for new hair :)…

New Life Hair came to my house to talk about the Vacuum Sealed Freedom Wigs. She was amazing. Talking with her was really great. She was so helpful. We decided to hold off for a little while. I just wanted to put up some more recent pictures of my head. As you can see, there isn't much left to my eyebrows or eyelashes.
