Second Day On Alopecia World.

This is my second day on Alopecia World. I must say, I can't get enough of it. Im so curious to see everyone else, and how they're coping. This place is amazing. The blogs from other members are so inspiring, the people on here are so friendly, and YOU ALL ARE GORGEOUS! :) Im so happy I found this website.
The minute I signed up, I had emails from people welcoming me, and ready to share they're experiences with me. I love this place, I feel like I can say anything, feel what I want to feel, and people are going to understand. This is exactly what I needed. Thank You All So Much.

As co-founder of this beloved community, I'm delighted beyond words to know that Alopecia World already means so much to you. I'm also confident that you will always feel this way. So, thanks again for joining, Chelsea, and be sure to continue making the most of this amazing place. :-)

As the other co-founder ;), It truly fills my heart with joy to know that our vision has been echoed by it's members. Sometimes I wonder how I would of felt if I came across Alopecia World myself, but I can tell you the experience is just as joyous from this side. The members on this site are amazing and truly made this place what it is today. To think 6 months ago, this was just a thought! I give my thanks to all the members of Alopecia World for making this place AMAZING!

I totally agree! This place is amazing. I've only been here for a few weeks. I was recently diagnosed (2 ish weeks ago). I noticed the first spots a little over two weeks ago. my hair is falling out in huge clumps. I'm very close to shaving my head. I think it would be less traumatic to shave my head than to continue to have clumps fall out (see the pictures of how my spots have grown over the past two weeks). I got my first wig today. I think its cute, but I'm still nervous about it. This website helps to to see and know other people dealing with the same thing...they show me that a normal/beautiful life is possible even without hair. I'm totally addicted to AlopeciaWorld
