Bald again...Bald again
So if you saw my last blog post, I had this lovely re-growth going on, only 1 or 2 bald spots, I was quite excited. WELL...fast forward to last week and I found a few more. I was kind of upset, but said 'Oh well, luckily my hair is only an inch long, not to the middle of my back like last time'. It was all different lengths, and it looked like I let my 1 year old niece cut my hair. So I pulled out the buzzers and did the 1/2 inch guard. BIG mistake! I found so many more bald spots that were covered by the 1/2 inch of mis-shapen hair I just buzzed off. So I sat and the bathroom in front of the mirror and stared at myself for a good while. I turned all around looking at it with another mirror from the back, and it now looked like I let my 1 year old niece shave my head with the trimmers. There are bald spots ALL over. So I took the guard off the buzzers, shaved everything off, and then took out my beard trimmer and shaved it bald. Since then (which was wednesday, the 2nd) my head has not itched once and I feel better again. A few people at work have even came up to me at work and said "Oh you shaved your head again! I love the way it looks on you, I wish I could pull that look off." So its nice to hear, and granted I was extremly ticked off that it all started falling out again, luckily I can just go on being the bald girl. Thank GOD for beanies with Virginia's 20 degree mornings though! The best part is my foot is still broken and in the space boot looking thing. So I stand out quite a lot with my shiny head and space boot. You can see me coming from a mile away!! Hope everyone is doing well!!

This is all down to that foot, isn't it... you obviously can't run away from the alopecia fast enough. Try again once your foot's better! (what am I talking about???) :)

Sorry to hear it, but you're so right to shave it! Good for you for just going for the bald look. We can't let this stop us from enjoying life!

I love your outlook on life. That is why you can make the bald look work. You are comfortable in your own skin so you make those around you comfortable. I am sorry your hair is falling out again, that is discouraging. Try to stay warm. You look beautiful by the way.

A big wave to the girl with the shiny head and space boots!!! LOL! It sucks finding all those spots, I guess. What a rollercoaster. Good thing you just shaved off the hair, though - less aggravation! You look beautiful!
