Dreaded wig change
I changed my wig sunday. I usually change it on Sundays because I like to get feedback at church (or no feedback). I brought a bob hair style and it was long. I wore it to church I got comments like you look like your mother to just stares. SO I went home did a little cutting and it came out great. I went to work the next day and the response I got from women were “Did you do something different to your makeup, it looks great but different?” (did not change my makeup). The comments I got from men were , “Hey didn’t recognize you, your hair is different?”
I was very shocked that my own co-workers did not realize my hair was different, and men I hardly see notice it very well. What do you think about this?

I work at a place where we have alot of "regular" customers...when I changed my wig - it was shorter and a totally different color blonde then the one I wear now....I was surprised that only a few made comments...one guy told me I looked ten years younger! guess I picked out the right one....all my co-workers know and I have worked with them for the last 11 years - so they have been very supportive...thankfully. I remember the woman at PK Walsh (the salon that I get my hair)said people will notice something different about you...but they won't know just what "it" is.
