I do not know why, but I have this one roll of double-sided tape.  I have not worn a wig in over 15 years, but this tape has been traveling with me.  I have moved three times since I stopped wearing hairpieces, including from Canada to the USA, and each time I pack and bring this roll of double-sided tape with me.  I have no idea why I don’t throw it away.  Perhaps it’s because I feel I may need it one day.  Perhaps it is my way of reminding myself that I still have options.  So again, I push the roll of tape into the back of my drawer almost as if it’s waiting for me to need it again.

I have just started attending events without my wig, after having made the decision to truly be an advocate for Alopecia. However, on Saturday night I had a huge event to attend. Took pics of me both with and without the wig - and went with the wig. It is good to know we have options!

Keep the tape- it's a reminder of you being you!

Really???  That surprises me!  You are so comfortable in your in skin as you are and you're beautiful Cheryl.

I can relate to that Cheryl. I still have the tape even though I don't use it on the wigs I currently wear. I also threw out a wig that was literally falling apart but had been my favorite for a long time...sigh...it had been in the back of the cupboard for over a year lol

Well, tape is great for last minute wardrobe fixes so it is a smart thing to pack!  Secure the front of a revealing blouse, quick temporary hem to the pants, I even taped a sheet over a too bright bathroom window in a tiny cabin. Handy!

I don't understand it!  LOL! I am comfortable with my decision, I just can't figure out why I keep hold of the tape.

Maxine, that is so true!  Multi-purpose.

LOL!!!! Always think outside the box!!!

I guess you keep the tape for the same reason I have my wig. Never worn it in public but it's nice to know it is there.

PS: I need to buy tape like that just in case I lose my beanie. ;-)
