I shaved my head! : )

I did it ! I shaved my head ! On August 15 , 2010 @ 11: 25 ? pm . : D

I feel good ! I was planning on doing it in September but, I changed my mind . lol
Earlier I was crying in my room upset because the day I planned on shaving my head was so far away .
I couldn't take it anymore ! I was so tired of seeing my hair fall out . I hated to take a shower & wash my hair because hair would be all over my hands . I hated seeing hair on my pillows & floor . So I went to talk to my mom & I told her I wanted September to hurry up & get here . So we talked & I decided to shave my head tonight . ( well yesterday . It's now 12: 55 am . ) Anyways ... I now have a beautiful , bald head ! : ) We recorded it with our little camera . I have no idea how it will turn out . Hopefuly it will turn out good . When I first seen my head , I cried a little . I think I was shocked about how big the spots were . But I feel happy. I'm glad I did it . Later I'll post some pics . I am so thankful for all my friends on here ! Y'all have helped me so much ! I know that takes a lot of nerve and has to be bittersweet. So glad you feel better.I do know how tormenting the hair falling out everywhere is. Hugs!

Congratulations!! I have been thinking about shaving my head for about a month now. My bathroom and bedroom floor are covered in hair and I hate showering because I have to watch my hair go down the drain. I hope soon that I will be able to be as brave as you and many other people on here and do it!! By the way, you look GREAT bald!!

Yeah, the shaving of the head is a big step...CONGRATS...It is so much better though, you don't have to agonize daily about how much hair is falling out!!! You look fabulous....Keep smiling!!!

MacKenzie, congratulations on the big step! I know the feeling of hitting a limit and finally making the decision to take the plung and go in a different direction. It can be terrifying at first and I can understand the tears (letting go of the old) and then accepting the new.... And yes, you are bald and beautiful ;)

Congratulations! I remember how I felt...such a relief. I have a photo on my page of the night before, and the day of shaving. Now you can stop worrying about how much hair is on the floor, or how big the bald spots are. It's going to be better. You look beautiful. Good luck!
