Hey everyone,
I bought a new wig today and I really want to wear it to work tomorrow. It is similar in style to my old one but it is two inches longer. I was planning on saying that I got my hair layered and everything. Do you think people will notice the length difference? If anyone can let me know by tomorrow what you think that would be great!! Thanks!!

Hi Larisa,

I say wear the wig. I dont think you should worry about it.
Just do it!

Just do it! you'll feel more comfortable the more you wear it. And besides, most people will just think you've got an awesome hairdresser!

I'm sure most people won't even notice and if they do they will probably be wondering if you got a new hairstyle.
Even though I wear the same wig to work I have people ask me if I dyed my hair etc. I either tell them yes or no depending on my mood. I just can't believe that they don't know I wear a wig by now. So I agree with Jeffrey and Clara Just do it!

You could pin the lower sides back so it hangs the same length, and little by little go with pins moved forward so more hair hangs down. Then it might look like it is "growing."

Isn't that funny - that has happened to me too. Makes me wonder why I worry so much :-)

Hey Larisa,

I had the same worry when I got my second wig but i think we are the only ones who really notice. My second wig was longer than my first wig and had more of a fringe but I told my colleagugues I had just straightened my hair because my first wig had a bit more volum than the second one. They never noticed. I regularly change between wigs and noone knows. You can always add hair pins or bobbles to make it look like you have styled it differently
