I have had Alopecia for over 20 years, since I was a little girl. So I consider myself a "seasoned veteran" of this disease. For the most part I'm pretty use to it. Hey everyone,
I bought a new wig today and I really want to wear it to work tomorrow. It is similar in style to my old one but it is two inches longer. I was planning on saying that I got my hair layered and everything. Do you think people will notice the length difference? If anyone can let me know by tomorrow what you think that would be great!! I have had Alopecia Areata since I was four years old and have done everything I can think of to hide it from others. I would often times style my hair put on so much hair spray to keep in place.. making sure that no one can see my spots. It worked when I was younger but as I got older the spots got bigger and were not growing anything.
