I lost almost all of my hair between last September and this January. I tried the cortizone shots for 4 months, but it would just fall out other places, so I quit in December. Now I have little "white baby" hairs on my head. I am serious when I say it looks like baby hair, it has little curls, and swirls, and sticks straight up. Have any of you had experience with this? Does it usually just fall out, or does it get darker? I have been wearing a wig for a couple months so at least it is covered!!!
Thanks,
Kenra

Hi Kenra,

I have had this white hair for over a year now. It doesnt swirl or curl or do anything else cute. Haha The longest I let it grow was about a little over a week. My usual regime is to take out the electric razor every few days. Bzzzzzz

I had about 50% regrowth with no treatement after years of no hair. Recently it fell out and now I have little white fuzzy hair all over. It's like baby hair, probably thinner. It doesn't grow much, pretty much stays the same. I have no idea what's going to happen with it. The joy's of alopecia! :)

I had those baby white hairs when my hair first started to grow back. It got darker after a while. I currently have TONS of regrowth. still some patches in the back - but definitely alot of new hair. if you check out my blog, there are pictures of what my hair looks like now -- once it moved past the white baby phase

thanks for your replies---- Rachel, did you do any treatments, or did your hair grow back on its own.
