hey thanks for the comment, yeah i think im dealing with it go now haha
bit of a shock at first but not alot i can do about it, im sure having it all your life wouldnt be any easier :/
Its always encouraging for me to see someone with a good outlook on Alopecia. It's one I wish i wouldve had when I was younger thats for sure! I've considered a wig myself, but am unsure where I should look for some that would look real enough. Not only that, but I cant remember the last time I ever thought about a good hair style for myself lol :-P
Hi , im Super Sorry that I have not been talking to you now but things chang like sins I was in school I am going into difrent grads every year and mabyeI will have like so much good grads not like im not geting good grads . Rite (: bye Samantha
Cool. Thanks for the info. does the cut make a big difference in terms of removing density, did your ready made look wiggy before it was cut? How long have you had your piece for? I know what you mean about the parents but you cant help it, and im sure there happy that you have something your pleased with.
Cheers laura
Hi ya I can see your also from the UK! Saw that you wear a mandeville wig. I have recently heard a lot about them and went to an appointment but because its a lot of money need to think about it. Do you wear a ready made wig or do you get it custom made? Do you think a hair cut makes a big difference in the ready made wigs because it seemed a lot of density? Have you checked out any other wig companies?
Cheers Laura
Hi Megan...I haven't been here in awhile but I just got your friend request and checked out your page! You have a great attitude!!
Keep Shining!!!

hi megan! thanks for your add. I also dont show my baldness, but starting to think i should take it off now and again as i'm getting lots of issues. I have also had it all my life but worn a wig since i was 16. Do you mind me asking where you get your wigs from? I've only ever bought fake hair wigs.
Hi Megan,
Thank you for adding me. You seem like a real strong person and I am happy to get to know you. I am watching it thin a little every day and wondering how much longer I can somewhat hide it. I am not the combover type. I love my hair but like you said, it is who I am now. Never get down about it. Just make the best of it and know it is not that bad. As long as I get to enjoy my family and football, plus a sprinkle of hockey, working out and fourwheeling, I am good.
Hi Megan,
How are things?
We are ok today though Jon hasn't gone to school again today. Seeing my GP to see if she can refer us to someone as I can't get on to the child psychologist here.
Thanks Megan for the advice regarding a wig. I'll tell him and leave it in his court to make a decision.
By the way - I think you should try modelling, you are very attractive. I like your photo too.

Hi Megan, I wanted to welcome you to Alopecia World. I can honestly say that we are a great community here and I hope you enjoy the time you spend with us.
hey,
thanks for the add.you sound so chilled out about your whole experience with alopecia,i admire that :)
What kind of stuff are you interested in? x
Hi Megan,
How are you?
My son is in his first year of high school, soon to be 13. He doesn't want to wear a wig, he mainly wears a hat or beanie. Most of his friends know that he has alopecia but I think alot of people think he has had chemo.
So you find that wearing the wig helps you to cope better?
