Good, I'm glad about the eyebrows! I love mine. And they do tend to be a little darker on your skin than they look in the package. I have had alopecia universalis for many years -- probably about 30. Never grew back. It's okay -- I don't mind it any more. The wigs look just as good or better than my real hair was!

Synthetic wigs can be great, too. Go on wigs.com or wigsalon.com and you will see a lot of contemporary styles. My favorite, closest to my own hair and the human hair, is Brandi by Rene of Paris.

Happy New Year!

Yes,  a lot of women have found a great deal of help from my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It goes into detail about many of the issues we have to face including makeup and eyebrows, wigs,  eyelashes, how to tell people,  all the feelings that go along with it. It won two national awards. You can get it on Amazon. Before you get your eyebrows done with permanent tattoos, read what I wrote. I don't recommend it. That's why I use the temporary tattoo brows which look really natural, can last for days, and are inexpensive. And they don't scar you, or fade, or turn blue! Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Your-Hair-Falls-Keep-Dancing/dp/1933449586

And you can talk to me any time, or ask any questions. I'm here to support you.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time! I know how that can be. I spent a lot of time talking to women in the same position when I was doing research for my book.

As far as eyelashes, I wear false ones most of the time. I've found a great glue that doesn't fail, called Duo Brush-On Adhesive. And for eyebrows I use temporary tattoo eyebrows which are very affordable and natural looking, unlike regular tattooing (I had that but it looked icky and then it faded to blue!) You can get the temporary tattoo eyebrows here: www.beauti-full-brows.com

Are you wearing wigs?
