Glue or double stick tape will cling (stick) to your hair when you remove the wiglet - and prolly pull some out. I think those methods are more for shaved heads.
I use toppers for my hair line and crown. I use 'Got 2B Glued: spiking gel". It's a hair gel but works as glue too. It's amazingly secure and my topper doesn't move all day. It lasts a good few days and I've even slept with my topper on and it hasn't moved. It washes off with water/shampoo and I love it. I don't think it will work if you still have some hair but I shave a little area at my hairline.
Hi Shiri..I just purchased a topper last week forvthe first time and am looking for something to keep it a little more secure. Where can I buy the Got 2 B gel that works like glue? Thanks

Got2 B can be purchased at almost any Walmartor pharmacy, here we have it at CVS. It is very inexpensive and will hold well if there is no hair and the system has polyurethane tape tab in front. Put a fair amount on the spot, let it dry, then press the system into the Gel. I is a Godsend for many that can't use glue.

Thank you Chris for Hair! By the way the hair in your photo looks beautiful...truly beautiful :)

I'm waiting for a hair piece from a lady I found on Facebook.  It is a fringe (bangs) attached to a headband.  So no clips required.   She is in the US.  Search 'easy bangs hair extensions'.  She has a video on there showing her product.

I would try glue adhesive like Hagster suggested
