we have a few threads about oral Xeljanz treatment but nothing dedicated to information about the topical form. The cream seems like it would have less systemic side effects (more suitable for children?)

Are the people who have been using the cream getting it prescribed specifically as topical, or are you being prescribed it specifically or are you being prescribed oral and having it prepared as topical?

is there a separate trial being run for the topical version?

Does the topical treatment warrant a distinct information thread separate from the oral treatment?

My son is too young to participate in any trials, particularly of oral medication, but I'm curious what will be available to him in the future

thank you!

football fan is using 0,5 or 2%?

The cream is 2 percent

it's strong sure your hairs back soon.

It has now been a while since people have started using topical. I wonder if we can get any updates, positive or negative. Is anyone having response to the topical alone without oral?

Finished 12 weeks of topical JAK inhibitors on a trial, apparently now is when growth may start,I'll  keep you posted

Hi Peachfuzz, have you had any new growth with the topical ? Also are you taking xeljanz 10mg along side it?

No growth as yet, I'm not taking oral Xeljanz at the moment

What is topical JAK inhibitor that you are using?  Did you see others on the trial and did they have regrowth?

Peachfuzz,
Perhaps I missed something, but are you continuing to use the topicals for awhile longer? Even after 12 week trial is over?
Perhaps doctors will have to experiment with dosing of topicals, much like different amounts of pill resulted in varying times for hair to begin growing.

Hi,no I used the creams 2 a day for 12 weeks and thats it. Now I wait to see if I respond.

To be honest, I personally feel the cream alone won't do it, but it may help used in conjuction with oral JAK inhibitors

Thank you!
Hi peachfuzz any tiny response at all? I'm at 10 weeks and going to continue using the cream for at least a couple more months. Twelve weeks might not be long enough.
