I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

If you are a fast responder, you could see results within a month. Start looking for tiny, white spiky hairs then.

Do you know the cost of this medicine ? Cause appears it has a lot of less sides effects

I read the cost is very high also for this

Did anyone else on here just recently start xeljanz

Dottor Who a week ago...i hope i can begin in 10-15 days(i'm waiting for recive the xelijanz)

Has anyone ever heard of Hormone X?? It seems like a scam.

The catchy name already sounds like a big scam. How
Is your wife still doing on the xeljanz?

"miracle" sounds like a scam too.

It is quite exaggerated if not a scam.

There are still no cosmetically acceptable results after 5 or 6 months of use by "xeljanz girl"

It is obvious that a "solution" like this, will take significant time to be fruitful, it might need some serious improvements in terms of efficacy and further long-term studies are required to ensure xeljanz is safe for every day consumption.

I dont want to hurt anyone's feelings but it is important to keep a realistic, conservative view on this.

ICARUS, have you read ALL 1782 replies to this discussion like I have? Do you realize you are calling ALL Xeljanzers (including ADML, who started this discussion in 2014) that have had success on Xeljanz and posted their results on here scammers and liars? Not just me? What is wrong with you? Are you jealous of our success? Personally, thousands of people in my community, in my church, as well as my doctors at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) are eyewitnesses of my regrowth on Xeljanz since July 28, 2015. What do you mean by stating that I don't have any "cosmetically acceptable results"? Acceptable to who? You? I just saw Dr. North and 3 other doctors at UCSF's Dermatology Clinic last Thursday and they were SO AMAZED AND IMPRESSED with my regrowth they took TWO sets of pictures to document it! They wanted the pictures to prepare for a Dermatology Conference and Grand Rounds where they plan to present my case since I am their FIRST PATIENT ON XELJANZ. My hair is growing back in stages exactly like it's supposed to and I have documented every phase with pictures on this post as well as in my personal discussion called"From Totally Bald to Regrowth in One Month"(4month Update). My name is Valeri Coleman, I live in Oakland, California and my phone number is (510) 706-0609. I'm not hiding behind my moniker of "Xeljanzmiracle." I gave myself that name IN ADVANCE because after being AU for 6 years I believed my hair would grow back on Xeljanz and it has. I threw my wigs away in April and told everyone about my disease and that they would all witness be a part of the "miracle" of my hair regrowth on Xeljanz and they have. Even the bald security guard at the movies I went to last night said "How's the growth coming? And when I took off my cap and showed him he was he was excited to see my latest progress! Everyone on this post is supportive and encouraging of our fellow Xeljanzers and their positive results. We are ESTATIC after years of patchy bald spots or in my case, no body hair at all for 6 years. We celebrate every eyelash and new hair on our eyebrows and scalp. Stop insulting our personal choice to use Xeljanz. Most of us are using it without any adverse side effects, but there are risks to every drug on the market even aspirin. That's why in the medical field there is a legal term called "informed consent". The patient has the right to decide for THEMSELVES. The Xeljanzers on this post have done that and we are HAPPY with our choice. My AU friend and his parents came with me to UCSF last Thursday and met my doctors there and he now has an appointment with them next month. He's going to be UCSF's "Xeljanzmiracle#2", lol! In about 2 months, he will start posting his pictures and POSITIVE RESULTS on here as well. Prepare yourself ICARUS, lol!

ok "xeljanz girl".

I cannot monitor on every single person trying xeljanz.

I am sure there is something in it, but i strongly reject the idea that there is some "miracle" lying around.

Not yet.

Of course you can fool yourself as much as you like but this wont help you with the real world.

Praises and kind words should be addressed in a conservative way.

Cosmetically acceptable regrowth is a term used by dermatologists all around the world. Refer to them whether or not havin this kind of regrowth.

Why not trying preserve the word "miracle" until you get a real head of hair? It sounds more grounded and sensible.

Stop calling me "Xeljanz Girl". I am a WOMAN. I do have a head full of hair, although it is not all visible in pictures. Between the dark patches there is blonde/whitish regrowth over my ENTIRE SCALP. But like you said in another post "patchy is creepy" to you because it is not uniform. I don't care how the word miracle sounds to you. I am a spiritual woman of faith Mr. Alpha Male. My dermatologists are more than pleased with my regrowth; it is following the normal pattern of tiny white hairs, to darker and longer. Stop trying to monitor my beliefs and my faith. Stop making negative remarks about me. I read your other posts. I'm about to report you for calling me a scammer. Leave me and my progress out of your future posts.

At the moment i read noone side effect and same Dottor King put in his informe the Xelijanz is  A SURE DROUG.

The only problem at the moment is the cost ...
