I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

china..but i cant give senders website as if it comes out weak or bunk  people will blame me..but there are lots of usa and china vendor .easy to find ..i wonder why many people haven't tried already getting powder

but honestly i dont know if quality will be good or not as its from china ..i will get it tested so i will know what i should expect  from it ..

at one place i saw 600 usd for 2 gram ..and at 1 site of usa origan i saw 400 usd for 100 mg..really bizzare to be honest

The site in the link below had Xeljanz in powder form too. Im not to sure this stuff is edible in this form. The "not for human use" kinda threw me off.

http://french.alibaba.com/product-gs/factory-supply-tofacitinib-cit...

The powder form is usually used for testing on lab rats. Aladdin, please be careful and at least ask a doctor if it's safe to go forward with this.

but dear this disease is eating out my damn life ..i want to try it just for few months

also MSM will help greatly sustaining hair if u rub it lightly on hair with some  oil before sleep...hair go thicker so quick no mediine can do this..even biotin huge dosage .

here doctors dont know  jack **** ..most doctors in india are not quality doctors like doctors in usa and they lack advance present  knowledge

Now I understand what you meant by the doctors aren't good there. I'm actually Indian too, well my parents are from India. Once when I visited, I got a fever and went to a doctor there. The doctor literally gave me 7 different pills to take! It was kinda scary because usually I would take one pill for a fever over here, so I decided not to take the seven pills and let the fever subside on its own. So I somewhat understand your situation now. Isn't Ruxolitinib (Jakafi) available in India?

What sides effect? is it a jack inibitor?

yes jak inhibitor... i have read somewhere that its side effect are  less than other jak inhibitor..although i may be wrong..my memory is not very strong

@  sp06
