I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.
I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.
Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.
The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.
I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

That's weird, just your hands? Yellow skin is an indication there's something wrong with the liver. Yes, I took 300 mg at once. I did it once a month for 3 months.
My Dr. followed Dr. King's protocol and had me take 300 mg of prednisone once a month for 3 months. She had Alopecia when she was a teenager but grew out of it so when she became a Dr. she decided to specialize in Alopecia. I took the xeljanz while I was pulsing.
Hello all, I’m new.
I have twin sons who are 24. One has had AA for 7 years, which since last June is now AU. The other is now having AA patches, since October.
We are in the U.K., unable to get Xeljanz via a prescription. Both my sons would like to give this medication a try.
We have decided to buy from Bangladesh.
For those who have successfully purchased and had a delivery, is there a ‘use-by’ date on the tablet boxes? We want to give this medication a good chance to show any effects it may have, and feel we need a good stockpile.
Now I have joined, I will try and update as we begin our treatments - other members progress has been so inspiring.
Please check with your customs regulations regarding import of prescription medication. My shipment was denied here in Canada so there's a chance you may face the same issue unfortunately. Looks like our friends in the USA are having better luck!
Order a smaller amount for now to see if you are able to receive it.
Thank you yp, that’s a great suggestion. I’ll start with a small quantity to test the route and customs sitch for the U.K.
For anyone that ordered from Bangladesh, how long till they send out the medicine? I see the money was received but they have not emailed me back.
Hello Nat il, I would like to know the internet address to buy in Bangladesh please! Thank you
shamiul@beaconmedicare.com or you can order directly thru the Beacon web page
