I have one funny. At the last NAAF conference Andy & I were walking through the mall in between meetings and we past a kiosk that had those hair curly things that make your hair all curly and fancy. I walked past it with my scarf on and she said Lady lady let me curl your hair. I looked at her right in the eye, smiled and said no thanks I don't have any. You should have seen her face.

My favourite is when you're wearing a wig and you go to scratch your head and your whole hair moves and people look at you in a really weird way...it's soo funny! or itching under the wig that's even funnier! I did that in the supermarket once without really thinking about it and this women stopped what she was doing and stared at me as I walked past and put some bread in my basket :)

Hi all, i will keep this short and sweet. So i was on training today. Its the start of the summer and it is hot as hell. So we had a young guy with us on training and he thinks he is the next big thing. He was going on and on about stuff that had nothing to do with the training. The training manager told him, he will sort this out with him after training but he kept on. So i lost my cool and throw him with my wig. I could not take it any more. I grabbed my wig and throw him with it. The look on his face was priceless. Well at first he did not know it was a wig and we found out he screams like a girl. Every body stared at me and i felt embarrassed so i left the training session and went to my office to have a cry. My boss came in and he was still laughing and now the guys in the back wanted to know what was up. And everytime my boss calms down to tell them he cracked up laughing again. Needless to say i went back to the training and old loud mouth didn't say a word until break time.

Tanya, since you've made your wonderful comment just now, I'll share something not so "funny. Recently, someone posted a comment to my "Alternatives to Wearing a Wig" video on YouTube:

"omg u look like a man"

I responded in a comment:

"If I look like a man to you, it's only because the only bald people you've seen are male. Too bad. Your comment proves my point beautifully: Baldness won't become an option for women with hair loss the way it is for men until more women ditch the wig and go for it."

I've had only a few negative posts to my alopeica YouTube videos (one so off-color that I removed it.) Overwhelmingly, people have been very complimentary.

OK, OK, you can borrow that 10 bucks.... but that doesn't mean you have to stop the compliments!

Oh well, Mary, that's just ruined my self-image.... *sigh* ...and I thought I was your pal. :)

How about replying: "Men with brain, good - men without brain, bad"!
