TG, I thank you for that E. Kitty-educational link... and she's right, this Englishman DOES need time, cos my watch is broken :)

Dom, whatever your doing (golfing, quaffing?) to defy aging, keep it up. May 60 be even better. Happy Belated!

Norm, I won't ask what you're doing; but, if we can just find the formula for that steamy imagination, bottle it, and ship it over here, it would mean one-stop shopping for women...Victoria's Secret. Who's Eartha Kitt???????:).

"Over the hill"? WHAT hill???
Soo, get out there and date some guys in their 30's. I can just see them on their knees before you, as you recline regally on a chaise longue in a slinky number, growling sensuously and generally doing an Ertha Kitt... (anybody who doesn't know who Ertha Kitt is - sod off, you're too young for this group!) :)

Great to see some activity in this group again; I was beginning to wonder if everyone was still up and kicking:). This cruise is tempting (and by the way, John, thanks for asking if over 60s are included...lol). One nice thing about being this age is realizing that staying active, including exercising, and eating healthy foods are more important than trying to find a way to restore hair follicles. Everybody here looks terrific..despite some of the other unfortunate health issues. I'd love to hear about everyone's activities to counter the "over the hill", "out to pasture (no Wisconsin pun intended)" personification. Marissa, any new meds recommended for sea sickness (?) (last 2 cruises ... well, some yuckier moments:). Hugs, Susan

Hello everyone. Great group. Love the comments. I am a old newbie lol. My hair fell out during a cruise this past January all gone in 11 days :( before never hardly even had to clean my hair brush of lose hairs and never had a bald spot. Today I am totally bald universal is what this Nana has. Life is a funny thing. It is my third year with diabetes though and have been on insulin for just a year. I am a big believer this is why the hair loss. Body cannot keep fighting :(. Am willing though to join you all for a cruise though Marisa. Love to cruise ......

Hi all...hope everyone is having a nice summer. Welcome to the newcomers in the group.

Nancy, going bald is not the worst thing that can happen to a person believe me. I work in a pharmacy and on a daily basis I see tragic cases of people who are abusing themselves with perscription medication. They are hollow shells of humanity and it is really sad. So being bright eyed and bald is a okay with me!!! Besides I don't have much choice in the matter so it is so much better to just try and be okay with the situation.

I have a cute story to share...my brother and his family came to visit and it was the first time my nephews have seen me since I went bald. Daniel the eldest 13, just acted like no big deal..never even mentioned it. Dominic who is autistic didn't even notice...and David the 3 year old said to me when I took off my bandana "where is your hat"...then when I put a wig on he asked "do you have more hair David can wear?" he was so darn cute and it didn't matter to them at all that their auntie was a baldie....so all my worries were for naught...as ususal.

I have heard that a new study is coming on the horizon ...testing AA patients with Orencia...a drug currently used for RA. I personally have no desire to try any RX drugs to grow hair, but for those out there who are game...maybe it is something you want to discuss with your doctor.

Have a wonderful day ..PEACE BE WITH YOU!
