I found this article online. Though it doesn't have anything to do with alopecia I found it to be a very informative and good read.

Hi Libby! Thank you for the compliment! My "scarf" is actually an old army tshirt. You can do this with any old t, but I cut it under the arms, put the hemline on my forehead since its a nicer hem. Then I gather the extra at the nape of my neck and twist until it makes a bun, then the bit that is left around my wrist, I tie around the bun like a hair tie. It's so cheap and re-purposing, plus jersey knit is so comfortable. I still have some hair though to keep it in place.

Oh Libby, I hate it! I do wear a wig daily and dislike that too! It has only been since August for me. I had spots here and there, but now I have no eyebrows and a few very small areas of hair on the very top of my head. Only my close friends and family know, but every once in a while will tell others and most do not know what I am talking about. Anyway it is what it is and I smile and go on.

Thanks Libby, So how long have you had alopecia? Mine has gotten worse since August. I am in a full wig! Sometimes it can be fun, but I can not wait to take it off when I get home. I just the other day lost all of my eyebrows as well!
