Well, I spent the whole Thanksgiving weekend from Friday night onward in bed with a migraine and scalp pain that has just been excruciatingly out of this world and left me totally incapacitated. If it weren't for the fact that I agreed to let my hair grow back in because Todd asked me to, I would be sitting here enjoying a bald head, free of irritation, inflammation, and all around discomfort because I can't stand how having hair on my head feels -- it's hot, itchy, and I'm too lazy to spend the time styling it when it does finally grow out enough to do anything with it.

I have to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support since I lost my eyebrows. I'm still pretty upset that they're gone, but I'm slowly getting used to it. This weekend, I woke up on Saturday to see that both of my eyebrows were gone.
Just like that -- no shedding, no unusual thinning (other than that caused by my perpetually underactive thyroid) -- just gone -- and it has upset me in a way I never could have expected.

Father's Day is a very bittersweet day for me. Since I've lost my own beloved father 6 1/2 years ago, I tend not to celebrate this day like I used to. However, since my own brother has become a father, I can't help but feel pride and joy over how he has become so much like our father in raising his son. Okay, so as everyone knows, I was in a wreck and got arrested 3 months ago because unbeknownst to me my drivers license had been suspended because I didn't notify the state of Georgia in writing that my insurance had changed.
