Wigs of Mass Distruction or WMDs!

Hi everyone on AW!

It's been a few weeks. Christmas is over and work is in high gear. Lots of projects and no time to come on here and talk to everyone. I miss that and hope I can get on more.

A very reaction-y kind of day today

I've been going out bald in public for ooh, about three weeks now and have had a variety of responses from strangers. Going out for dinner in a very arty venue - nobody bats an eyelid. Sitting behind a small child on the bus - slack jawed staring, although in a very innocent, curious way. Life After (or WITH) Alopecia? (Please respond!)

Hi everyone!

I'm handling my female pattern baldness a lot better than I used to handle it. I believe once again that I'm worthy of love and fun. But every now and so often I catch myself thinking "I better enjoy this while I can. If I am ever bald, I won't have this." This is mostly true of dates and relationships with guys. I have been toying with the idea of shaving my head and getting this hair loss crap out of my life for quite some time now.
