Well, it will be 2 years Gluten Free in June and 6 weeks ago I started to lose my hair again at an increased rate. I'd had a couple small patches here and there but was able to do the injections to get them to grow back. It's kind of depressing and I'm not really sure what other avenue to go. My patch has developed on the back of my head and seems to be about 4 or 5 in vertical by 3 or so in wide. Man, I thought I'd really found a source to help with the hair falling out. My derm was even impressed, I think, by the size of it. I keep trying to think back to a possibility of some sort of gluten contamination but am pretty sure thats not it. As we all know, alopecia can be unpredictable but it's just so hard for me to accept still after 25 years.

I am bummed out for you. I thought that there may be some connection with gluten. Keep us posted.

Look on the bright side, eat a bowl of pasta and a hunk of Italian bread guilt free!

Yeah. . . I found a new spot recently too. It really sucks when you think you're doing all the right things, but then it's so unpredictable. Hang in there though. I have to remind myself that there are worse things that could happen. For the most part I'm healthy, and I have to try and stay that way. Good luck!
