Telling anyone that will listen to me about alopecia. I posted to one of my local tv stations about Alopecia Awareness Month and they wrote back that they were adding it to their calendar events. As its also my one year anniversary of shaving my head on Sept 3rd....Im getting a tattoo on my head.

Doing everything I can to spread awareness since I lost my hair earlier this year. I was able to get the Courier Post (NJ) to do a piece. It speaks about alopecia, awareness and helps promote the benefit I've put together 9/16/2011 in support of the Children's Alopecia Project. Read here: Bald Brave

Hi! I started an event on Facebook called "September is Alopecia Awareness Month". I dedicated the awareness to my son Justin. If you have a Facebook please search the event. We are trying to reach as many people as possible. When and if you find it, share it with all your friends! =)

Hello all - I've raised £2100 for Alopecia UK and More-2-life by getting my head shaved- this Friday 30th September I've organised a party at my hairdresser and I will get my head shaved with friends and sponsors and some drinks. The other day I met a very beautiful bald lady - I remarked to her how lovely she looked and told her that I was shaving my head for Alopecia awareness month- she said "What's Alopecia?" - and so we had a very lovely human conversation about alopecia and how she shaves her head just because.
