I still don't get how people can do this. I am a Software Developer and the greatest thing for me was to be able to work from home full-time, so I would not have to face anyone. Maybe if I were an athlete, or something like that, it would be different. I lost clients and contracts because of the Alopecia. I was kicked out of church because I would not admit that I did it to myself.
The only time no one says anything about it is when I am at a reptile show, because people are there for the animals. No one says anything at the zoo where I volunteer, but that may be because they are afraid I will feed them to my full-grown alligators.
I am building of a Food Truck, but that is hard because people think it is contagious. I have even been accused of having Covid, because hair loss is one of the hundreds of symptoms.
