HI Guys,

Has anyone imported Xeljanz from india via Fedex?

Just wondering if its reliable and if it gets through customs without issue.

Thanks!

This is the hope but I've read that you should be on xeljanz for at least a full year at a full dose 10mg or higher (higher preferably) before weaning off.

I was weaning off after about 8 months of being on the med and my hair started to fall out and I am back on 20mg and its both growing back and still shedding.

Before I ween off again I am going to wait till I am 1 year full of no signs of shed or spots and then start weaning off so we know the immune system has been resting for quite a bit.

But everyone is different.

12 years ago I started with rosacea, then I got ezcema, then inflammation of acne 2 years ago, then vitiligo (non-progressive) and then I got AA/AU 1 year ago. Its scary to see how the immune system has progressed and mostly all derm related. I am hoping this is the end of my immune system going haywire... I think for me at least it was because anytime I got a sinus infection I would go on Antibiotics.. For Rosecea I went on Antibiotics for a full year or 2. When I got off of it, that is when I got acne which I then went on accutane. When I got off accutane I noticed the vitiligo which has not really progressed at all (crosses fingers) then a year or 2 later I got AA/AU.

It is all connected... Everyone is different but for me I am banking that it is connected to my gut and the anti-biotics destroying it. I am now taking theralac probiotics and will switch up probiotics every now and then to populate my gut with bacteria that have been missing for so long.

I feel the answer is in FMT for us, but maybe not all.

wow Newjack what a rollercoaster you've been on.

fascinating. keep us posted

Yeah at first Rosacea to me was nothing. I didn't really care for it, then the eczema as well. I thought it was just a part of getting older in my mid 20's and my body changing. Then I got inflamed acne at 27/28 and I knew something was up and figured it was the anti-biotics I was on for the small cystic pimples I would get from the rosacea. Then it seriously was all down hill from there! 29 I got AU!

Crazyness, I blame the Antibiotics and my gut.

I believe it

man what a slog

the drug is so new we can only speculate what will happen.  I commend you for documenting your progress with this drug and look forward to seeing your future results!

So has anyone in Europe been able to get it through customs?

Mine was seized in Italy.

try to send them to England or France if you have relatives living there, you have more chances that the customs will not stop them

Hello all,

Mairead, Singh, and to anyone in the U.K......

I finally finally received my shipment.

After spending my Christmas break reading half the internet, teaching myself about the biology, learning the risks, educating myself on global specialists, I decided to finally order on 12 Jan, sitting at home, paid using my banking app, Beacon guys were so helpful. I took a gamble and ordered 36 packets.

Arrived into the U.K. on 21 Jan.

Got stuck in customs.

25 Feb - has letter by post from customs requesting details of medicine - this quantity is suspicious!

Bit of back and forward emailing, customs guy agrees to release. Joy. Also, unlike you Singh, curiously no customs charges.

20th March (yesterday) I collected a surprisingly small box from my local PO.

I have twin sons, both affected by the condition. Today they start their journey on Xeljanz.

Nicole T - your adventure on this medication, your diligence in testing the generic, your patience in the two dose levels, and your positive spirit have given me so much hope for my children, when all medical avenues here had left us resigned to acceptance. Thank you truly for your research, your thoughtful updates, your continued input to this forum - even with your success.

Great news. Ruby, I’ve added you as a friend. Is it okay to ask a few questions about what  you told customs please ?

So I’m running out of tablets and beacon have told me to ask anyone in the in if they can lend me a few boxes until mine come? I know it’s a lot to ask but I’ve got full regrowth and it’s goong to fall out - I have about 2 weeks’ worth left. I’m in London but willing to drive anywhere and I’ll pay more than what they’re charging and then I’ll return them when mine arrive ?

Hi Ruby

I've sent you a friends request, I've got 3 children with AU and my order for generic tofacinix was stopped in Coventry customs, 3 days ago. Would like your advice

Ben

Ben - mine is the same. It’s been two weeks. But beacon said it will arrive, it will just take time. I would like to know what Ruby said to customs so that we all say the same thing. It’s really annoying that it’s takig so long. I’ve had to pay£1000 this morning for 3 boxes of xeljanz from India
