I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

So why are you against me trying this drug? It’s available on the NHS it seems so I could get a prescription maybe and not have to pay for it at all provided my Consultant knows how to treat Alopecia.  Furthermore, JAK inhibitors work to target the problem with the immune system signalling of cells unlike other treatments which don’t. Is it available in France on your health service? Any serious side effects I will stop immediately and wouldn’t take it unless there is close monitoring of symptoms and frequent blood testing. I’m waiting to hear back from my Dermatologist but my mental health is deteriorating rapidly and just want all of my hair back so so much.

I think we are just surprised by your turn around- a day ago you were saying you couldn’t understand how we could be contemplating taking this medication and putting our health at risk and you seemed to indicate that the research you did made you feel this was not something you wanted to do. Anyhow if you do want to try it this forum is a pretty great resource.

yes it is available in France but for arthritis not for the alopecia areata, there are several inhibitors jak in clinical trial in the United States specifically for the alopecia areata when it will be put on the market its I do not know between 2020. 2022.
to have xeljanz the cheapest is a istambul I was paying 425 euro the boxes,
so the only thing your dermatologist can do is just follow your health. read from the beginning because we will not repeat 100 times things that date from 2014

in no country even in the United States it is allowed for the alopecia areata. apart from those who are in clinical trials ... and the only clinical trials are in the United States. the only way to get it without a prescription is in Istanbul and it is the cheapest. and I do not guarantee you that the customs at your return will not confiscate them. I am lucky that my dermatologist makes me a letter that I am treated by xeljanz so that I do not have a problem of customs in France

ne rêvez pas votre dermatologue peut simplement suivre votre santé pour avoir xeljanz c'est à vous d'importer de istanbul et de lui payer un peu de temps pour lire le fil d'actualité tout est écrit

Yes Im sorry, I was mistaken when I said india.
Indeed beacon is in Dhaka Bengladesh and this is where my orders ship from.
And their bank is HSBC in HK which is where i wire the money to.

I once ordered from India from a site Indianpharma or something paying $750 per bottle for 2 bottles of "Xeljanz" using paypal.
It was shipped FEDEX and usfda blocked it and destroyed it so i was out $1500 USD

Just read naaf hopes to have 2 treatments that are affordable, safe and work by  2020! That’s just around the corner!
