My name is Abby, I'm 16and i have Alopecia Areata. Having this don't really bother me anymore i have alot of support from my family and they all love me for who i am. i have a amazing boyfriend his name is ken we have been together for 6 months almost 7 hes is my whole life he knows about my hair condition and he dont care he loves me for who i am and i love him soo much im going back to school this year and im goin to be in 11th grade. im getting my medical office administration.and i will be going to blur ridge college in my 12th grade year to do my lpn :)

omg she sounds just like me when my mom told my g-ma i flipped out on her and i wouldnt ever talk to her

but i might have a better soultion for you guys
idk if you have the funds to provide a really good wig or how much hair she has or what but i go to hairclub for kids and its all free i get 4 heads of hair a yr and 8 services you might look into it it was the best thing that has ever happend to me

I know this woman and she called me and she is involved in this show called the Doctors that coming out and they are doing a segment on Alopeica and they are looking to do a live consultation and help her find solutions on air - are you interested in doing this? They are providing a beautiful wig for free to the person kind enough to come on and will pay their way to and from LA

she might not feel comfortable about it but its worse
to hide and i no from what i have been threw and let me
tell you thats not the path i think that she is going to want to take it would be better if she has supports not haters who talk about her all the time
