I have received a lot of interest from others on here in my involvement with the Xeljanz trials at Yale.

I thought it would be nice for everyone if I documented my progress on here.

Xeljanz is a Jak3 inhibitor and is believed to work with alopecia by turning off the distress signal relayed by the hair follicle to the attacking immune system which is the cause of the hairs falling out. Xeljanz comes in a strength of 5mg per pill and a full box contains 60 tablets. The recommended dosage for arthritis is 1 tablet in the morning and another in the evening each day.

The trial is set in a series of stages and there are requirements before participating. These include monthly visits and blood tests every 2 weeks. Dr Brett King is absolutely fantastic and is an inspiration to me. His positivity and enthusiasm gives me the much needed hope I have craved for over a decade. I have been put on a low dose to start with which is 1 tablet every other day. My dosage has now been increased to 1 tablet every day and next month it could be increased to 2 tablets per day depending on the results.

I have completed my first month and have already noticed my alopecia has stabilised . I have not lost any existing hairs. In addition to this I have seen little hairs growing in my chest area as well as eyebrows. Fingers crossed! To date, I have experienced no side effects.

Exciting Carlie, congratulations!

it looks amazing

How did you get approved or did you order a generic?

Also wanted to know how often you guys need to get bloodwork done

Does anyone have a contact at Beacon to order Tofacinix from them?  I reached out a few times with no response.  I am very interested in this thread and starting the process of tearing my AA.  I have 8 spots now that are aggressively growing.

Hi Brock, drop me a DM and il tell you how to get them.

Kind regards.

Hi Brock, yes I ordered from Beacon who was the person you emailed?

shamiul@beaconmedicare.com.bd    Email this guy

Thank you!  I just emailed the site but having a direct contact will help!  I live in the states... have you had any issues with Beacon.

No, state is ok to receive in your door with no problems!

Hey @Shad, @Brock

Would ya'll happen to know the cost on that site, For Tofacinix 5 or XR?

Thanks in advance

As Nicole said $15 USD for a box 30 on it. I haven’t start yet, but works for Nicole. Hopefully good for all of us.

Good luck!

I sent my wire transfer last week and on Saturday I got an email back that they would send the product with no tracking.  I have reached out twice since then with no response from beacon.  Anyone have this situation happen and receive the product.  They were responsive until o sent the wire transfer.

What has everyone here done for their eyebrows if anything?

I have bladed them currently, but I don't like them too much unless I fill them in a bit with some brown (they get a bit greyish in the light). Any good eyebrow wigs? I am a guy

Xeljanz grew mine back
