Skin feels weird, like a plucked chicken

as our chicago weather is starting to cool off, i am wearing a bit more clothes that i have during summer. I guess since my molting in the spring had progressed to full blown AU, i realize that my skin has gotten soooo terribly sensitive as fabric rubs against it. has anybody else felt this strange sensation? It is almost like my body down layed a cushion between my skin and my clothes and now it is all gone!!!!!!!! EGADSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! I really feel like a plucked chicken!

Getting ready for the day!

Today i feel like just sleeping all day! I hate getting up taking a shower and running my hands through my hair and coming out with clumps upon clumps of hair falling out! I can't comb my hair or else it just rips out! I also can't really do anything else with my hair but wear it up in a pony tail and put a thick head band on. What a Day!

Sundays are my favorite day of the week! I came home this morning from work to find that a water pipe had busted under the house yet again. So I fill up the kitchen sink before he cuts the water off. First I bathe Kaleigh then get her out and start to let the water out. Panic sets in for a split second as I realize if I let the water out there will be none for me and I need to shower before church so I grab the sink stopper and plug the hole. Not a typical question on the wedding forums

so with my groom bumping the wedding date up by three months I'm feeling stressed. I should be focusing on finding a venue (why is everything so expensive) but instead I'm thinking about what to do for hair. Make-Up Tips for the Bean

Hello Everyone, I am looking for some make-up advise, we, my husband & I are attending the wedding of a friend, with the triple digit heat here, 108 today, 106 tomorrow which happens to be the event day.

I Just Can't Bare It (Unless I Choose To, That Is ;-)

As we venture into 3rd grade

Nicky went back to public school this year. He started 3rd grade on Monday. I went in with him today and we did a little 5-10 minute presentation all about Alopecia. More hair loss

Guess I'm not really looking for answers at this point, just coming to accept that we will never know what tomorrow holds. We do have a new bald spot and some more thinning hair. i brought my first lace wig for about $400 and a wig store in the mall. when i comb the wig the hair falls out, someone told me this isn't suppose to happen... is this true??

Compare alopecia to an accessory

i saw alopecia like the worst thing in the world and now i just view it as if its an accessory like jewelry, some people have gorgeous jewelry, some people have really ugly jewelry and some people don't have any at all. and when i wanna fit in and wear my jewelry i go to my room and put it on.

Another Spot...Will it Ever Stop?

Well folks, last night as I was going to bed, I made the fatal mistake of checking my head. As I was doing so, I found another spot where hair was just coming out in spades. Questions about lace wigs

I am new to this and dont have alot extra money to spend on a wig so i want to make sure this is the right decison for me. so now the questions: Are they hot? are they comfy? are the secure? can you straighten, curl them? do they look natural? are the hard to apply? what is the best adhesive if you want to wear for a week at a time? how do you care for them? lol i know it is alot of questions but im sure you all understand. thank you for taking the time to reply:)

White regrowth?

hiya well ive got white hair growin in and its so very excitin, but i had read someone's blog from around 2yrs ago and it was about white fuzz comin in but it didnt ever grow in properly,

i am determined not to shave it off as i really want to believe that its gonna all grow bak, i couldnt stand puttin up with the itchin again wen it was growin,

Are there any wigs that look completely real?

I think its going to get to the point where I have to wear a wig:O(:O(........I don't not want people to know that its a wig...even up close.....I do NOT want to go bald or wear hats or hankerchiefs...soooo upsetting...my spots are growning little white hair, some more than others....but its seems like I'm still loosing a lot....I just want to scream sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
