How has it changed your life?

So I am having a bad, bad day of shedding related angst today. Stress. The irony of it is that my hair loss is both contributing to and is exacerbated by stress. Of all the rotten luck. Make it go away please.

Don't know why it upset me so much

The other night we were at a night club that our uni goes to every Wednesday and is usually a really good night. When we were on the dance floor we were dancing in a group and so had our backs to other people and then a couple of boys behind us started fighting. I didn't realise until my wig got pulled off and it was in the middle of them as they were fighting. Was at work yesterday and some woman made a comment about my hair. she started telling me my hair was thinning on the back of my head as if i didnt know. Still just rollin along

well life has kept me pretty busy in the last 2 months, been working and helping a band with shows all over california, just finished a mini tour with the band which was extremely fun but the only thing is i got 10 hours of sleep in 2 days but all in all everything went off without a hitch, on the alopecia end of it i'm still full of life and still just as positive since the day i found out i had it so there is no change in that, well thought i would shoot you all a line since i haven't posted… Continue

This thing we got

About exactly a year ago, while I was getting a new hairstyle, my aunt pointed out my first spot in rear of the crown of my head. She explained it was alopecia and that my dad had spots a few years back. I did gasp superloud when I looked in the mirror at my backs reflection. It wasn't no bigger than a silver dollar. 4 Days & Counting

I'm not sure what made me think working 4:00 PM to 6:00 AM was a good idea... But seeing as it is almost 1:30 AM, and I only have 4.5 hours left I do have to say I'm feeling pretty good, in terms of mood. I'm tired and procrastinating :)

Depo Provera

So...my hair loss started about a couple of months after i received my first depo shot, i was losing ALOT of hair and was too afraid to go back for a second one. It has now been about 8 months so doctors say the shot should be gone from me body. I had a short hair cut done to minimize the hair shedding, which seemed to help alot. Growing out the regrowth

It really does seem that my hair is trying to come back in earnest. I've gone from smooth bald to steadily increasing patches starting to grow again. After months of shaving these off, I have finally made the decision to let them grow out.

Need to release..>!

Im a little bit worried, I know that the crown of my head is getting thinner and I think Im loosing my eyebrows! I still have enough hair so it looks ok, but I can feel it is thin thin thin!!
I dont want to go thru what I went thru last year with discovering the patch and then seeing others develop.
Im so sick of playing this waiting game, i hate it, hate this alopecia!!!

Considering changing jobs

so some of you know, i HATE my boss & shes a big, huge mean-girl! so anyways... im really thinking about changing jobs so i dont have to deal with her anymore, but im afraid of what will happen when i walk into an interview either a) bald as the day i was born, b) wearing a scarf, or c) in a wig, then show up to work bald & they think i "hid" it from them... btw... i DESPISE wigs! Never been happier (or balder!)

I've been bald for nearly a month now and I've got to admit...I've never been happier with my appearance! :) I absolutely love the bald look! I was shocked about how good it looked...I was worried that my head would look a bit morphus but it doesn't so that's pretty awesome. I can't believe how easy it is! Completly zero maintainence :) and it's a lot easier than i though to look feminine with no hair :)
