So a few months ago while reading a passage from a gastroenterology textbook, I came across mention of an association between alopecia areata and Celiac's disease. I have had undiagnosed gastrointestinal issues (primarily chronic abdominal pain episodes) and found this interesting. Does anyone here have GI issues as well? I thought I would try to order a wig online since I don't have many options for purchasing one at a store in my area. I placed an order with a website and never received the wig. I have been looking at other sites but am hesitant. I am not ready to go for the custom wig yet...still holding out hope that I am going to regrow. I've been trying to handle my hair loss, taking the bull by the horns so to speak. Telling my self "I can handle this", "I'm going to be fine" (fine as in all right not as in it's going to grow back). Pragmatic, realistic, positive. It's very typical me.
