Do anyone know of a cure for alopecia? I have heard that some medicines can reverse alopecia, but so many on the market and I wonder do they work. I also heard that vagina yeast cream have grew  peoples hair back I never tried it but I am going to.    I guess when you are desperate you try anything.

I am 37 and have had alopecia since i was 16. For the most part, I have been lucky. So, the obsession begins again.

I look in the mirror as I brush my hair. I see the balding spots. I touch the top of my head. I feel my scalp and my fingers easily can feel it through the thin hair. Last week my daughter Olivia and I were at Sally beauty supply.  As we were checking out the clerk said to my 6 year old  "You have pretty eyes , despite your condition"  I felt my daughter deflate in front of me.  I led Olivia out of the store and turned around and reamed the clerk  "How dare you say this to a child"  We both left the store in tears.

my alopecia started very suddenly and for the first time aged 50. Up until now I have been lucky to enjoy very thick and healthy hair. I just wanted to share what I have learnt so far and hope that it will offer another newbie a little comfort:
