Frustrated

I've had my new wig (Codi by Amore) for only one month & it's already super frizzy. Well, the long layers anyway. The back that is short is still great but not the front. SO frustrating. I think I might have to stay away from A-line bob hairstyles because this happens to me all the time wearing A-line hairstyles. Ugh.

Freedom of choice

We all have a freedom of choice who we "accept" as friends on here, to whose opinions we respond, how we change our profile words, headings or photos, and what we wear on our heads. Here we go again :(

I hadn't been on here for a bit, I'd been trying not to think about it. I went ahead and got the shots in two of my spots nd they seemed to work, but now my hair is thinning again and I counted around six new spots. They're small now but that's how it all started. Loss of brows

For a while now I had thinning brows and knew eventually they would be gone, except yesterday I woke up and had no brows, I cried alot over it, I felt like an alien with no hair, no brows, my lashes are very very thin, I was so upset over this and never told my hubby and the funny thing was he and no one else in my household noticed anything!! Considering my brows were fairly dark.

I did it for the first time!

So today my family and I went to a water park and I went for the first time with nothing on my head. It was such an awesome feeling. Not to worry about anything falling off, I felt free and it was great. TO anyone who is afraid to do it, just go for it, I was nervous, but I figured people stare at me with my hat on so whats the difference if I don't have anything on. My husband said he knew I was a strong person, but now he really knows what a strong person I am, lol

Sleeping in Wigs

Just out of curiosity I have a question,,,
Has anyone ever slept in their wigs using a silky net?
If so does that ruin the wig??
would love anyone's input on this please as I bought a silk net and the woman at the store told me I could sleep in my wig as long as I had the net on but they will say anything to sell something to you!

Losing Hair? try Biotin before you decide to shave your head

One of the choices I regret now was to shave my head when it started falling out...

All it did was cause all the hair on my head to not come back. One AW member suggested I take Biotin, and she said her Alopecia had stopped. I have been taking 5000mg Biotin Pills for about a month now. I'm actually getting regrowth on about 30-40% of my scalp. Although it's not 100% I'm happy it's atleast partly coming back. I'm a wigaholic!

My name is Allie, and I am a wigaholic. I've been obsessed with wigs for a year and 8 months. I should join a support group. :) I do not want to say how many I have at the moment. Why shaving your head is liberating
